  • 4 cups (320g) desiccated coconut
  • 1½ cups (300g) chopped red glacé cherries
  • red food colouring
  • 395g can NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 375g pkt NESTLÉ Dark Melts, melted
  • 30g copha (white vegetable shortening), melted
  • NESTLÉ Dark or White Melts, melted, extra, for decorating


Prep time       Cook time 
  1. combine coconut, cherries, few drops red food colouring and NESTLÉ sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. roll heaped teaspoonfuls of mixture into egg shapes. place on tray, refrigerate until firm.
  3. combine melted NESTLÉ dark melts with melted copha. dip eggs into chocolate, refrigerate until set.
  4. decorate as desired with extra NESTLÉ dark melts or white melts that have been coloured with red food colouring.
